Please pray with us for opportuni-ties to follow up with contacts made through camps, and that people would draw closer to our loving saviour.

Endings. Beginnings

March in Japan; it’s a time of many endings and with April comes new beginnings.

The school year finishes, so it’s a time of exams, graduation ceremonies - from the littlest of children through to post graduate students. So as people all over Japan look to the future, we too as WEC Japan find ourselves also looking to the future.

This year our annual field conference will be held on march 22-26. a couple of months earlier than normal, and as always in that, we will, like the rest of Japan, be looking to the future. The conference this year is running on the theme of My Vision for Other People.

And yet this year's conference holds something extra in store for us. Just like all those university students graduating and preparing to join the new intakes in companies all around Japan come April, we find ourselves reaching the end of one term and the beginning of something new. That’s right, this year sees the end of the current triennium, and the elections for WEC Japan field leader for the next three years. Who will this person, or persons be?

Though at the moment only God knows the answer we here in WEC Japan are fervently seeking the Lord's guidance, seeking his will. Who is his chosen, his anointed too lead us in God's work for the next three years? Please join us as we seek to know God's will clearly.

Pray also that God would speak to the field both as a whole and as individuals during this time of conference, that it might be a time of refreshment, and empowering as we look to God's vision, to his future on earth and here in Japan.

Again, numbers for conference are expanding as God continues to send his people to Japan for the gospel.

This year’s conference will also see two families new to the field since last year. The Lim family having arrived in the middle of last year and the Oh family who will arrive just in time for conference.

So please, join us in prayer over this time as we look to God for his Vision for the future, for us, others and Japan.
