Megumi Church: Julie has been having some fantastic conversations about what being a Christian means with the three ladies who take her parenting course. So much so, that they are considering starting a Foundations of Faith course and opening it up to all the Toddler Group Mums with Japanese worker Komori Miho leading it. Please pray for the Mums to accept the invitation.
As Christmas approaches, it’s a great opportunity for missionaries and Japanese Christians to share with people the Christian message.
Even though Christmas in Japan mainly consists of a few decorations in a shopping mall, cream sponge cakes topped with strawberries, and sometimes a present or two for the children - Many Japanese people are open to talking about Christmas, the meaning and why we celebrate it today.
On December 23rd the Wec Churches in Japan will join together for their main yearly Christmas outreach event. ‘Biwako Christmas’.

Jesus is the fragrance of springtime. This spring season, may His spirit refresh all of you, renew all of you, and make all things beautiful. Please join us as we pray for this nation, churches and workers in Japan. When we do the praying, God does the answering.

Moving to a new country as a missionary involves many changes, and orientation of new workers is essential to help them find a safe passage through this maze of 'newness', and to build a life in Japan, where they are able to minister to others.
