Latest Prayer Points

Pray for the salvation of the attendees of Otsu Korean Language class. Hyosoo will be taking over from SeongJae who has run this class for many years.

Many of our team are on furlough at the moment, pray for them as they share about Japan with others, and also for those waiting to have checkups and surgery in their home country.

Madi, a new missionary from Australia, is planning to join us here in September – pray for God to provide all she needs to be able to come.

We give thanks for the 150th anniversary celebrations of the birth of Protestant missions in Japan, on the north island of Hokkaido last month. Those from our team that went were pleased to be able to meet friends from other mission agencies and join in the conference.

Bee Choo Ong was recently given the joy of witnessing the salvation of a student-seeker at a KGK camp. Praise God for his grace, and do pray for the student as he prepares for baptism.

Seongjae Yu has just started a new ministry in Rakusai Church, and so moved to an apartment in Kyoto. Pray for good fellowship and chances to share the gospel.

Martin and Julie Crowhurst, Edi Wilson & Seongjae Yu are in Thailand for a WEC regional conference October 11-25. Pray their time would be blessed. Martin and Julie would appreciate prayer that their two daughters fit back into the school routine after the trip, and pray that Peter Wilson would manage well at home with their three children without Edi!

Two couples arrived as new missionaries from Korea on September 25. Pray for them as they look for and settle into new homes and start language study.

Pray for short-term workers like Jenny (see article) to fit in and be spoken to by God during their time in Japan.

Pray for one new family who started attending Kusatsu church this summer.

The Gaubs at Kusatsu Church will host an Ethiopian pastor from October 12 for 3 weeks. Pray that he is able to see dif-ferent churches in Japan and that he will be a blessing and blessed as well.

Kusatsu Church have a ladies meeting on October 13, and Kaori Church have a Waku Waku Kai (ladies' outreach) on October 27. Pray for those speaking and for fun to be had by all.
