New Missionaries with Big Vision

We are excited that God is sending many new missionaries to Japan! Eunjeong and Jaenbaeg Lim arrived in Japan on September 25th 2009, sent to us from Onnuri Church in Seoul Korea.

Jaenbaeg and Eunjeong are living in Hikone, ShigaKen and are working with Megumi Church.

At the moment, most of their day is spent fulfilling the difficult task of learning Japanese, but they have also had many opportunities to share about God with their Japanese teachers, neighbors and people they meet every day.

One particular man, a Japanese Volunteer teacher from a local community group has now started attending church regularly, as well as meeting weekly with the Lims to study the bible, sing Japanese worship songs, and then afterwards to teach them Japanese. Praise God for this man! We also pray he would make a full commitment to following Jesus!

The Lims vision is to see God’s abundant love evident in the Japanese, and to see a revival sweep through the country! They also want to see God planting many new churches in Japan, and to then see those churches sending out Japanese missionaries to other parts of the world!

Let’s join with them in praying for this vision from God!

Other prayer points:
- For their baby daughter due in March, for a safe delivery and for Eunjeong’s health.
- Pray for more supporters to be raised up.
- That they would know God’s heart and be able to encourage their Japanese friends to know God more.
- Strength for language learning (both Japanese and English)
