Latest Prayer Points

Please pray for follow-up from the Christmas events held by our network of churches. Kusatsu church are considering holding a Bible study for those who came along and are interested; pray for guidance about that.
 
Please pray for opportunities to establish gospel witness opportunities in the two areas of Kyoto outlined in this month’s article: Yamashina and Fushimi.

September News and Prayer points

New missionaries for WEC Japan-Chungkyu and Unmee Lee will arrive from Korea on the 5th of this month with their two children (Seungmin and Seungyeon). Please pray for them in all aspects of settling, adjusting to new circumstances, and learning Japanese language.

KGK (Kirisutosha Gakusei Kai, meaning Christian students fellowship) Summer Camp- Praise God for the KGK Summer Camp which was held on August 26-29. With evangelism as its primary emphasis, about 70 students participated. Some of the non-Christians who came expressed an interest for further knowledge. Please pray that these students will latch onto their own campus activities.

There are 5 churches belonging to south block WEC in Japan-Yoshino, Rakusei, Rakusai New Town, Uzumasa, Kyoto Aino in Kyoto and Nara area.

Pray that each of the churches will be filled with God's love for the lost. Ask God to send His Holy Spirit to encourage each worker and leader in these churches.

Women’s Seminar in Autumn- It will be held on 15th September at Ritto Church. Mrs. Yokomi, who belongs to Kusatsu Church, will lead this meeting and the guest speaker will be Sawaya Yumiko. Pray for God’s blessing on the seminar and the speaker. Pray that many people will attend this seminar and that their hearts will be opened to God’s Word.

Rakusei Gospel Service starts! (14th Sept. 1:30pm) – It will be held every Sunday after the service in Rakusei church. Pray that Christians and non-Christians will experience the Lord’s presence through powerful and unique Gospel worship.
