The excitement of the powerful, unique and joyful Gospel!!
Rakusei Gospel Choir has been running every Thursday evening since it started in January this year. Pastor Okumura and his wife Michiyo lead this music ministry, full of grace and joy.
Christians and non-Christians, even beginners at singing, join together for the joyful experience of singing the Gospel. Anyone who would like to sing is welcomed at anytime. The church aims to use this as an effective way of spreading the Gospel.
Michiyo leads voice training for half an hour and Pastor Okumura leads a vocal lesson for the rest of the time.
They have already performed in workshop and church events, and have plans for a few more performing events this year. More members have joined the Gospel Choir recently and they are aiming to continue moving forwards with passion and enthusiasm. Things are looking very exciting.
Pray for the Gospel Choir members, that their hearts will be touched and that they will turn to Jesus, to find their place in Jesus and to get closer to Him.
Pray that Pastor Okumura, his wife and their church members in the Gospel Choir will sense God’s love and power.
