Pray for the salvation of the attendees of Otsu Korean Language class. Hyosoo will be taking over from SeongJae who has run this class for many years.
Many of our team are on furlough at the moment, pray for them as they share about Japan with others, and also for those waiting to have checkups and surgery in their home country.
Madi, a new missionary from Australia, is planning to join us here in September – pray for God to provide all she needs to be able to come.

Do you ever wonder what happened to our past missionaries? There have been 120 of them! This month we caught up with one New Zealand couple and two Australians who used to work with WEC Japan. Don Barns’ story is here, while Jenny Mason’s (’83-4) and Geoff and Joan Roberts’ (’52-71) are now on our website:http://www.wec-japan.org/en/content/where-are-they-now

Where are they Now?
Two former WEC Japan workers from Australia, and one from New Zealand, update us on life after Japan.

Here we can hear from a past missionary to Japan why the Lord called him there.

Pray for the short-term workers who have recently been with us as they seek God about their futures.
On the third week of May, Bee Choo has 2 talks to take at the regional student re-treat. She would appreciate your prayers.
Thank God for giving Jaehyun & Sewon many non-Christian teachers, friends and helpers. Please pray that God would open their hearts to know Him who is true and living.
Kusatsu Church stands like any other house on the side of a busy street in Japan, with many people passing by every day. The Gaub family has been serving there for almost 20 years and, together with other missionaries and Japanese workers have seen the church go through many changes, challenges and buildings.
This year brings another challenge, as from July the building will be demolished and a new church building will be built at the same site.
Pray for Jangbaeg and Eunjeong as they enjoy their new daughter Eunhye Lim who is now 4 weeks old.
Pray for a safe flight back to Germany in April for Gisela and children as they enjoy a short break at home and for their eldest daughter Simone as she has an operation.
This month Rita has also gone back to Germany for a 6 month furlough.
Pray for our Field Leaders Martin and Julie as they continue on in leadership for the next 3 years.
March in Japan; it’s a time of many endings and with April comes new beginnings.
The school year finishes, so it’s a time of exams, graduation ceremonies - from the littlest of children through to post graduate students. So as people all over Japan look to the future, we too as WEC Japan find ourselves also looking to the future.
Please pray for Short termers Denise and Catherine here to do research on the heart music of the Japanese.
Bee Choo will be off to Wakayama in the first week of March, leading a team of students on a study tour. Then on to Nagoya for the KGK National Conference where
about 400 students will gather from all over Japan. Do pray for stamina, strength and for a meaningful time with the students.
