Today we see many churches in Japan reaching and baptizing more people and growing like we have never seen in Japan.  And, in the same city, with the same Bible and Holy Spirit, we see many churches NOT reaching people, not baptizing people, not growing.  65% of our protestant churches in Japan had no baptisms last year.

YET, Jesus promises that MANY will come to the great feast from the EAST as well as the west (Matt 8:11).  He promises a multitude too big to count (Rev 7:9).  I believe this.  And though we may not yet see revival here in Japan, we do see the wind blowing.  We see many people hungry and thirsty like never before.  We do see people coming to Christ in many churches like never before.  Of course, gifts of the pastor/church planter, experience, our location, etc, all under God's sovereign rule affect the effectiveness of our evangelism.  But, we can all learn and grow as personal evangelists, and as leaders in helping our churches reach people and make disciples that in turn make disciples.  It IS happening in Japan.  May it happen more!  May God use this conference to that end.

Directions from JR Notogawa station to the WEC Retreat Center:  Call us in advance or
Take the #13 Bus (toward 八日市駅) and ride ten minutes and then get off at Iki-Iki-Kan (生き生き). From there it is a five minute walk to the WEC Retreat Center. The bus runs every 15-20 minutes during the daytime.
By Car:
Take the Meishin Toll Road to Ryuo and then highway number 8 to Gokasho.
