Improving new workers orientation PDF Print E-mail

Moving to a new country as a missionary involves many changes, and orientation of new workers is essential to help them find a safe passage through this maze of 'newness', and to build a life in Japan, where they are able to minister to others.

DeborahOver the last three days (April 20-22) our new workers have met together to come up with a revised orientation program for people coming to join the WEC Japan team. Meeting in the local WEC headquarters, Deborah, Jessica, Ben, Simon and Henrietta, all of who have arrived in Japan within the last two years, were led by the field leader through a number of stages of brainstorming, discussion and decision making. The end result is that they now have a proposal to present to the rest of the WEC Japan field members at our conference in May. The photos show some snapshots of the time.
