Thanks for praying for our Christmas events! Some 20 students came to the KGK one in Kyoto, including a couple of non-believers.  One student shared the Christmas message and another gave a testimony of his recent salvation.  The whole meeting was wrapped up with a warm hot-pot (nabe) dinner.  Tracts were given out to those who attended.  Do pray for the salvation of these students.

Pray for God`s leading for making a field strategy under our new field vision, that He would give us proper strategy for effective ministry, and might show us future possible church planting areas.

March Prayer Points

For the arrival of our new workers, John and Samantha from Singapore, Catherine from the UK and Peter from Hong Kong. That they can settle in to life in Japan quickly and easily. The last few years has seen an influx of new missionaries to join the field long-term in Japan. In 4 years we have had 22 missionaries arrive. This means that about two thirds of the field are either in language study, internships or just starting into ministry. Praise God for what he is doing in Japan, and pray that his will be done.

The annual pastor and missionary retreat on March 30th, 31st. Please pray for this time of refreshment, fellowship and teaching.

For Japan and the Japanese during this time of tragedy, that God will soften hearts to hear his message of hope through Jesus Christ. And for the Church to reach out with this message. Pray for those missionaries and churches [WEC does not work in that part of Japan, but many other organization do] in quake affected areas, including Tokyo.
